Building A provides rooms for 600 students in 160 apartment style units, each equipped with air conditioning, a kitchen, a living room, and dining rooms. Distinguished by a thirteen-story tower facing Tavern Road, the housing complex includes two other sections fronting Parker and Ruggles Streets. The 220,000 sq. ft structural steel building was built on spread footings and has a curved masonry facade.
