Modernization and Transformation: Renovations Enhance Learning Environments

To accommodate modern standards and growing technology needs, Ivan Green Primary School and Eastridge High School in the East Irondequoit Central School District underwent renovations and improvements. The project featured demolition of the existing library and construction of the new 1,400 sq. ft. replacement library at the Ivan Green Primary School. The new library, set to inspire, offers a modern design and enhanced learning spaces. A large canopy overhang was built to shade the storefront area while allowing maximum light to flow into the building. The Eastridge High School received new finishes, flexible spaces, and student workspaces built into the wall for students to utilize on free periods. Additionally, the project included artificial turf baseball and multisport field, music room expansion, roof replacement and resurfacing, parking lot reconstruction, and gym floor replacement. Turner has collaborated with the district for over 10 years, delivering preconstruction and construction management services for additions and renovations at each school building thoughout the district.
