Exhibiting the History of Space Exploration

The Davidson Center for Space Exploration is a two-story, 75,932 sq. ft. facility designed to exhibit the Saturn V rocket, a Smithsonian artifact, while providing additional exhibit areas and unique banquet space. The facility includes a full commercial kitchen with easy access to the banquet area beneath the Saturn V rocket with seating for up to 500 people. Includes a high tech audio visual system. The Saturn V exhibit area features additional exhibit space surrounding the rocket and a monumental staircase enhanced with a custom mural celebrating the propulsion of the Saturn V rocket.

The facility also includes spaces for ticketing, administration and a gift shop. The surrounding outdoor areas include an Apollo Exhibit Plaza that will recognize respected donors to the project. The Plaza and highly-landscaped outdoor areas will provide convenient access to the facility. A unique aspect of the project is that it features the tallest flagpole in North Alabama standing at 140 feet.
