Indiana University Health's Saxony Medical Center is a 182,100 sq. ft. facility with 32 patient beds, six intensive care unit beds, two cardiovascular operating rooms, four operating rooms, an emergency department, electrophysiology lab, two cath labs, MRI, nuclear medicine, pharmacy and a 12,000 sq. ft. central energy plant.
The campus also includes a 122,000 sq. ft. Medical Office Building. The connected facility features a variety of physician offices, medical and surgical specialty clinics, and an outpatient surgery center. Services include: cardiac rehab, ortho rehab, sleep lab, surgery center, retail pharmacy, café, and Saxony leadership space.
The campus was constructed with over 750,000 worker hours without a lost time incident. The project also received the Liberty Mutual Gold Award for its outstanding safety record on the project. This project was constructed as a joint venture with Harmon Construction.
