2D Intelligence Battalion and 2D ANGLICO Company

A High-Tech Support Facility for Critical Military Operations

Eight buildings were designed and constructed to support the Inteligence Battalion and ANGLICO Company at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, in North Carolina. This project consisted of new facilities, including an 86,450 sq. ft. Command and Control (C2) building, a 63,800 sq. ft. 2D Intel Operations Center/SCIF building, a 34,610 sq. ft. 2D ANGLICO Headquarters building, and 18,000 sq. ft. Motor Transportation Facility, and 34,500 sq. ft. 2D Intel Supply Warehouse Building, a 12,000 sq. ft. 2D ANGLICO Supply Warehouse building, a Hazmat Storage Building, and a 600-car parking garage. The project also included provisions and master planning for a future HQ building, Operations Facility, Supply Warehouse, and parking garage. 

Due to the more remote nature of its location, consideration had to be given when bringing in a large workforce, including housing and amenities. Our team worked with the base to coordinate access to resources to all construction peronnel while not impeding the same access to the active military personnel located on this installation.
