Nationwide Headquarters Renovation

A 240,000 sq. ft. headquarters renovation

Turner provided preconstruction and construction services for a 240,000 sq. ft. renovation of Nationwide’s headquarters location. The project included major renovations to all occupied portions of the existing building. The scope included complete demolition and remodel of occupied spaces including new ceilings, flooring, paint, and partitioning. A new main entrance, a conference center, and executive suites were added to Building B. An extensive renovation of the existing kitchen/cafeteria was also included in the scope. Mechanical work included the complete replacement of the HVAC systems in buildings A and C to a new VAV-style HVAC system. This included replacement of the air handling units serving these buildings. Additional improvements included modifying interior and exterior lighting, replacing the fire system and network cabling infrastructure, and exterior landscape improvements. The project was completed in three phases.
