Connecting the Digital World

Turner Construction provided preconstruction and construction services for a new greenfield data center with 1,000,000 sq. ft. of data storage and 60,000 sq. ft. of administration offices. The building is considered a “big H” with the two data centers interconnected by the administration building. Both data centers are two-story structural steel with the second levels serving as a custom air handling penthouse. They have an insulated precast, metal panel facade with a polished SOG floor, and elevators in both data centers. The Administration area is a single story with a glass curtain wall, secured main entrance and a functional dock in the rear of the building. The interior of the administration building has typical office finishes and also includes a kitchen area. The project also includes a two lane overpass with precast tee’s over Highway 50 that interconnects the East Campus to the West Campus.
