Turner, with its partner McKissack, built Wexford Science + Technology’s One uCity Square. One uCity is a 13-story mid-rise tower with a two-story penthouse totaling approximately. 490,000 sq. ft. This building is a steel structure with slab on metal decks, a curtainwall system, robust HVAC systems, dual power feeds, touchless devices, green roofs, and a large plaza area featuring a waterwall. Designed by ZGF Architects and Olaya Studio, this integrated community of office, lab, and retail spaces features one level of underground parking and an adjacent plaza space that will be activated with community programming such as yoga, movies, concerts, and more. The speculative lab/office space features high ceilings and large floor plates, as well as four terrace winter gardens. The building is seeking a LEED Silver rating.
