Nestled within a beautifully restored 1920s office building in the heart of the city's financial district, Pinterest's office sprawls across three expansive floors, encompassing over 4,683 square meters. This newly designed workspace boasts a myriad of distinct and thematic areas that not only foster well-being but also celebrate various facets of Canadian culture. In addition to its open-plan workspaces, the office features a range of amenities including conference and huddle rooms, private phone booths, open collaboration zones, well-stocked pantries, serene wellness retreats, and a state-of-the-art executive sales center.
The top floor also includes an all-hands/presentation area, a catering/receiving kitchen as well as dining areas. Because Pinterest has a flexible work policy that allows staff to work from home or the office, meeting rooms were designed to allow for both in-person and video experiences; chairs set up in a semi-circle facing large video screens allow at-home employees to feel as if they’re in the room. And for those in the office, it’s not all work and no play. Pinterest’s space has a game area, an indoor garden, and a library with a speakeasy-inspired room tucked behind a hidden door.
