New Construction, Infrastructure
Turner provided project and construction services for seven projects in the Bursa region. The projects were all completed in 2019.
1. The Cullet Decomposition Facility
With a total building area of 79,000 square feet, the project serves as an addition to an existing building that processes waste glass into useable products.
2. A Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School
Construction of the Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was financed by the client as part of Şişecam’s social responsibility. The 67,000 square feet school includes a total of 16 classrooms, laboratories, an atelier, a sports hall, a canteen, and a cafeteria.
3. External Warehouse Retaining Anchorage Construction
To maintain the warehouse's safety and stability, a retaining anchorage wall with a total building area of 53,000 square feet was erected to recover the existing retaining wall that slid towards the warehouse.
4. Furnace Cold Repair Investment
The refurbishment of the furnace’s 290,000 square feet boiler and cooling building.
