Turner Construction Company and Clemson University celebrated a milestone at the College of Veterinary Medicine with a beam signing event, marking a historic moment in veterinary education and research in South Carolina. The Harvey S. Peeler College of Veterinary Medicine will be the state’s first veterinary school and will welcome students from across South Carolina and beyond.
This project will feature seven campus buildings: The Hub will be a vibrant center where students can attend classes, study and engage with each other; Ambulatory Service Building, Clinical Teaching Building; Research Building; Central Utility Plant; Farm Animal Teaching Building; and Equine Teaching Building. With an increasing demand for veterinarians in South Carolina, this project marks a significant step forward in building a stronger community for animals, people, and the state.

The college will be completed in 2026, welcoming the first class of students in the fall.
