Jacob Overman

In this role, he partners with senior management to manage, communicate, and administer various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.  He partners with over 250 professionals and manages one Human Resource Generalist.  Additionally, he is responsible for all employee relations, hiring decisions, salary planning and compensation administration, managing the performance review process and providing guidance to senior leaders.  Additionally, he develops initiatives to enhance employee retention to ensure a positive and evolving worker experience.  Jake is known for his strong interpersonal skills and ability to create inclusive and supportive work environments.

Jake and his wife, Beth are both originally from the Omaha area and have three children. Before joining Turner Construction, Jake served in the Air Force for 21 years and is an active member in the community supporting several veteran initiatives.  In his free time, he enjoys running, playing golf, and cheering on Nebraska sports.
