Jay Fraser

Jay identifies and develops aviation projects for Turner in the US and works closely with our clients and their consultants as Aviation projects develop through both the preconstruction and construction phases. Jay assumes a Principal-In-Charge role on a few major projects annually, focusing on staff commitments and ensuring the services that our staff provides are consistent with our commitment to the client and all project stakeholders. He has extensive, relevant airport experience, having served as Principal-in-Charge on the Miami Intermodal Center, FLL Terminal 4 Expansion, and MCO Intermodal Terminal Facility projects.

Jay joined Turner in 1986 after graduating from Clarkson University with a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Jay began his career in the Connecticut Business Unit as a Field Engineer on the First Shelton Place office building project being developed by Turner Development Corporation in Shelton, CT. Over the course of the next 18 years his career developed with leadership roles in various management capacities in the Connecticut office including cost control and scheduling, project management, and field operations. He also developed valued experience as a Business Development Manager and Purchasing Agent working closely with clients, designers, and subcontractors and vendors. In 2004, Jay was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Turner’s South Florida office. In addition to leading and managing Turner’s South Florida office until 2016 Jay also became a southeast market leader for Turner in the Aviation market segment. 

In January 2016 Jay was named Turner’s national Aviation market segment leader and maintains responsibility for that market in the US and select international assignments.In January 2022, Jay was promoted to Senior Vice President, his current role.

Jay resides in in Weston, Florida with his family.
