In 2011, Amit relocated to Vancouver to start Turner Construction’s Vancouver Business Unit, which, under his leadership, quickly become a leading Construction Management firm in Vancouver. During this time, He has grown the office from himself to over 145 employees, and led the business unit to do over $250M in revenue annually. In 2019, Amit was awarded Business in Vancouver’s (BIV) “Top 40 Under Forty” Award and in 2016, the Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) recognized him as the “Under 40 Award of Excellence in Construction” for his accomplishments in the local construction market. He also led the Vancouver Business Unit to receive the Gold award in the inaugural Best Tenant Improvement category for the VRCA’s annual Awards of Excellence and have been featured in Construction Business Magazine and the Cadillac Fairview Winter edition publication. When it comes to his role at Turner, he helps clients recognize their potential and build their future, while contributing to the strategic vision for Canadian Turner Construction Company. Amit's energy, drive, experience, propensity to innovation and passion for the construction industry, as well as his experience through the development of Turner’s Vancouver business unit, make him an admiral leader and mentor for employees.
