Turner Named One of America’s Best Large Employers for 2024

Forbes list honors companies that create a great environment for employees.

Turner Construction Company was selected by Forbes Magazine as one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2024. The list was created by Forbes and provides further recognition of Turner as an exceptional employer.

“During 2023, we achieved many significant milestones and completed the most work in company history. As we construct buildings that add resources and character to our communities, we also seek to create and sustain an environment where people can be at their best, be authentic, and are treated with dignity and respect. I thank our employees for creating and maintaining an environment where they actively care for each other and the 110,000 people we welcome into our workplace each day,” said Peter Davoren, President and CEO of Turner Construction Company. 

America's Best Large Employers 2024 were selected based on an independent survey of over 170,000 U.S. employees from all industry sectors working for companies employing at least 5,000 people within the US. Over 3.5 million employer evaluations were considered.

Survey respondents were asked to evaluate their employer based on a range of criteria, including working hours, salary, opportunities for training and promotion, workload expectations, mental health benefits, and diversity within the management team. The award comes after the company was named by Forbes as a Best Employer for Veterans, a Best Employer for Diversity, and one of America’s Greatest Places to Work for New Graduates in the past year.
