Revitalizing Healthcare: Turner and Sano Rubin Transform HealthAlliance Hospital Mary’s Avenue Campus for Enhanced Patient Care

Turner partnered with Sano Rubin Construction Services, LLC to deliver the HealthAlliance Hospital Mary’s Avenue Campus redevelopment project, paving the way for delivery of a higher level of care. As part of the development project for HealthAlliance Hospital Mary’s Avenue Campus, an expansion of 79,000 sq. ft. was added to the existing facility, consisting of a two-story building. This expansion includes a new emergency care center spanning 25,000 sq. ft., offering an unprecedented level of readiness to care for a full range of emergency visits. The project also involved renovations to 48,000 sq. ft. of space within the hospital.

This development significantly improved the hospital's services, adding patient beds, a new cardiovascular lab for procedures, behavioral health services, and a 10-bed intensive care unit. The family maternity center has modern labor, delivery, and recovery rooms. There's also a new imaging department, updated laboratory, and pharmacy for safety, a six-bed medical “stepdown” unit, and renovated ambulatory surgery, infusion therapy, and endoscopy centers.

Additionally, the project includes a welcoming new hospital lobby with central registration, financial counseling, family support, a pharmacy, gift shop, and cozy waiting spaces for patients and visitors.
