The new administration building for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport was designed to consolidate all of the administration departments under one building. The three-story, 150,000 sq. ft., tilt-wall, and glass headquarters building was designed as one of the initial anchor tenants as part of the DFW Southgate development.
The building is oriented to maximize visibility and access to the development’s central plaza and motor court. Responsible and economical construction techniques and materials were implemented to portray a modern aesthetic while maintaining an image of fiscal responsibility. Security was also a primary requirement for the new facility.
The office building features an expanded board room that can be configured as a multi-purpose training room. The site also included a three-story parking garage with 520 spaces. This project achieved LEED Silver certification from the USGBC.
