This project includes the renovation of a 29,127 sq. ft. space at Douglas College’s New Westminster campus into a new Centralized Student Services (CSS) area. This space centralizes financial aid, enrolment and academic advising, as well as counseling, accessibility services, recruitment, and career services. The new space houses four departments – the Office of the Registrar, Student Affairs and Services, the Career Centre, and the Future Students’ Office. Features include an open collaboration and study space, meeting rooms with demountable wall construction to expedite construction, operable glass partitions, and a new undulating wood slat ceiling feature at enrollment services. The refreshed space features self-service kiosks, providing students the opportunity to choose how best to be supported.
