The Hospitality Hub in downtown Memphis features the region's first barrier-free women and children's shelter, providing immediate stability and a place to heal for the city's homeless population. Featuring calming outdoor spaces, community rooms for visitors to relax, and twenty private rooms each equipped with a TV, the Hub connects individuals with much-needed stabilizing resources. Throughout construction, the Turner team felt the community impact of this important project and what it means for the city of Memphis. "A lot of times, projects are monetarily driven," said Project Manager Armando Longoria. "Hospitality Hub is different. There's a bigger message here." It's given the team the opportunity to give back as well. They've spent time handing out blankets to the surrounding community, and for Turner's Founder's Day, helped with landscaping for the Hub building.
