The two-story, 36,000-sq. ft. Welcome Center for the Huntsville Botanical Garden is comprised of a structural steel frame on a concrete foundation with an exterior that includes brick, stone, and cast stone. The Welcome Center facility features an expansive lobby with guest check-in and ticketing area, the Dogwood Café, gift shop, meeting rooms, administrative offices, three new event rental spaces, two catering kitchens, and an unfinished basement/storage area. Event rental areas include a Grand Hall that can accommodate up to 350 guests, a Carriage House with capacity for 200 patrons, and a glass Conservatory that can hold 40 individuals.
