West Gates at Tom Bradley International Terminal

Modernizing the Airport Experience

As one of the top five busiest airports in the US, Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) North was designed to complement the existing international terminal while increasing the number of gates to better accommodate passengers traveling through LAX. The multi-level design-build project is made up of three main components: a gateway addition for passenger access to the MSC from the new Bradley West Terminal, a passenger access tunnel which connects passengers from the gateway to the grand hall of the MSC, and the MSC terminal and connecting concourse with 12 swing gates. In addition to the facility, the project scope included 90,000 sq. ft. of tunnels for utility and passenger walkways, aircraft parking aprons, new service roads, taxiways/taxi lanes and utilities.
