Houston Tyner
An interior renovation project to the occupied 39-story hotel in downtown San Francisco. The renovation included installation of new check-in and main lobby, elevator lobbies, and back of house spaces on the ground floor; exterior driveway enhancement, refresh of the atrium, corridors, and meeting spaces on levels two, four, and five; and renovation of ballroom spaces in the basement and lower basement levels. The project scope encompasses approximately 150,000 sq. ft. with a construction schedule duration of ten months. The renovation of the 40,000 sq. ft. ballroom took place in one month and is the single largest ballroom in California.
