MCarthy Tétrault's New High-End Law Firm Space

Turner provided preconstruction and construction management services on this project which included the top three floors of the 745 Thurlow Tower. The new office space revolutionized the firm’s work culture with its modern layout. The top client-facing floor included 12 client meetings rooms including video-conferencing rooms, presentation rooms, on-line meeting rooms and one divisible training/conference room inclusive of projection capabilities, blackout blinds and an operable wall. This floor also featured a reception area, a servery and a catering kitchen. Noteworthy features also included a green wall and an interconnecting staircase that wrapped around the core. The lower two floors contained ninety-two independently supported and serviced glass office pods interspersed with workstations, collaborative areas, internal meeting rooms and staff cafes. The space also features an open-concept library mixed with collaborative seating spaces.
