The Technology Center helps Microsoft customers envision, design and deploy solutions for today’s mobile, cloud-based world. This tenant interior build-out relocated Microsoft’s previous Technology Center, also built by Turner, from Southfield to downtown Detroit and is located within the Bedrock-managed One Campus Martius Building.
The 38,000 sq. ft. space features conferencing areas for client events, training rooms, product development workspace, a virtual reality audio/visual presentation area, server display center, and “Envision Center” studio with a theatrical stage, lighting and seating to demonstrate products. The new space reflects Microsoft’s commitment to innovation and service. It also incorporates elements of the Michigan and Detroit community with themed historic murals, window graphics depicting Great Lakes topography and a large, locally manufactured luxury clock by a Detroit-based company.
