National Veterans Memorial and Museum

Throughout its construction, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum project elevated the pride of many veteran construction workers and the pride of all involved with the building of our Nation's first museum to honor and recognize all branches of the United States military. The 55,000 sq. ft. memorial museum is defined by a custom design cast-in-place concrete arch superstructure and a complex exterior curtain wall. The minimalistic interior features exposed concrete, wood flooring and custom ceilings. The visitor experience offers interactive exhibits, a central cyclorama space, a rooftop sanctuary and a memorial tree grove green space. Recognized as the construction industry’s most significant construction project of 2018 by the Associated General Contractors of America, the Project and Turner’s project team were awarded with the Construction Risk Partners Build America Grand Award.
