The New Settlement Community Campus includes two schools: a primary school with a capacity of 423 students, and an intermediate/high school with a capacity of 568 students. The campus also includes separate administration suites for the two Principals, as well as offices for pre-kindergarten, supervisors and guidance counselors. The campus includes a shared community center with a swimming pool, gymnasium and related recreational facilities. This shared complex and other school facilities including the kitchen, cafeteria complex, auditorium, library and play yards will not only serve the school population but will also be available for off-hour use by the local community. The New Settlement Community Campus is designed to meet the NYC School Construction Authority's Green Standards, including waste recycling and the use of local building materials from sources within a 500-mile radius.
