Located on floors eight and nine at One Liberty Plaza, Turner completed Business Insider’s 90,000 sq. ft. office within six months. Designed by Spector Group, the space features a news desk and several A/V studios. The construction includes a 10,000 sq. ft. pre-build suite on the 9th floor. The team worked with specialty vendors to install sound-damping features to realize the project’s overall industrial aesthetic without affecting interior acoustics.
Tectum acoustic ceiling panels were strategically installed throughout the space to mitigate ambient noise pollution. The project team also coordinated the fabrication of sound-isolating double-paned glass office fronts with Faram. Consequently, the installation of these features safeguarded the design aesthetic while providing Business Insider with an office worthy of broadcasting live news programs.
