This new, upscale Sheraton Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas includes 412 sleeping rooms, 14 guest suites and 4 hospitality suites. The hotel covers 6.5 acres and is approximately 319,000 sq. ft. and features 4 meeting rooms, 3 board rooms, 3 ballrooms and prefunction spaces totaling more than 28,000 sq. ft. Many of the design features have been adopted as the standard for new Sheraton hotel developments. The convention center consists of 60,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, a 30,000 sq. ft. ballroom and 14,000 sq. ft. of meeting rooms. Also included is an outdoor terrace, a full-service kitchen, covered and surface parking, enclosed and open-air walkways between the convention center and an adjacent Sheraton Hotel, as well as a football field sized courtyard between the facilities.
