As part of a design-build partnership, Turner was the prime contractor for the construction of three new facilities for the Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC) on the Redstone Arsenal campus. The project involved the construction of three buildings: a 28,500-sq. ft. collaboration center, a 600-sq. ft. visitor screening facility, and a 25,500-sq. ft. repository. Redstone Arsenal is a highly secure site. Each new building is anti-terrorism force protection compliant with physical security design features including blast-resistant exterior windows and precast panels, and an air-barrier system. The project also encompassed the site development of 10 acres.
