Turner and McKissack deliver state-of-the-art research facilities in Medgar Evers College's School of Science, Health, and Technology

Turner provided the City University of New York (CUNY) with management services for the core and shell construction of Medgar Evers College’s School of Science, Health and Technology (SSH&T), which features two multi-million dollar core research facilities in the areas of cellular-molecular biology and chemical analysis. The project was completed in 2010 under a joint-venture agreement between Turner and McKissack, a M/WBE-certified firm. Contained within the five-story teaching facility are 13 general classrooms, 16 teaching labs (biology, mathematics, nursing physical environment, and computer sciences), five computer labs, and a 350-seat dining hall with an adjoining kitchen. To ensure the project's overall success, the project team mitigates existing field conditions and site constraints through diligent task pre-planning.
