Integrated with two existing buildings, the five-story high-performance Science and Engineering Complex on the Tufts University campus in Medford, MA boasts a sleek glass and brick exterior, an atrium, and laboratory space designed to support multiple disciplines simultaneously. The building is comprised of two research lab wings that contain flexible lab suites on each floor, as well as an aquatic animal vivarium, a cleanroom, and several presentation and lecture spaces. These wings unite to form an L-shaped atrium, which is the social center of the complex.
Tufts SEC received LEED Platinum Certification.
