Turner provided project and construction management services for the Alma Resort in Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam. Occupying an area of 3 million square feet, the Alma Resort successfully combines Asian elegance and sophistication with the contemporary creativity of Western architecture. As a complement to Cam Ranh’s waters and headlands, Alma’s design sets a contemporary tone with a neutral palette of whites, earthy colors, and soft blues, accentuated with modern yet minimalist decor. Floor-to-roof glass panels usher in plenty of natural light in the resort’s 580 accommodations that all afford views of Long Beach.
The integrated resort hosts a multitude of facilities including 12 beachfront swimming pools, 14 food and beverage outlets, a science museum, a waterpark, a 13-treatment room spa, an art gallery, a cinema, a convention center, an amphitheater, a youth center with virtual reality games, kid’s club, water sports center, gymnasium, yoga room, 18-hole putting green, five sound-proof karaoke rooms, a mini supermarket and more.
The resort also made it to Condé Nast Traveller magazine’s Top 25 Most Luxurious Resorts in Asia Reader Choice Awards 2021.
