Cam Ranh International Terminal JSC

Turner provided project and construction management services to Cam Ranh International Terminal JSC for Cam Ranh International Passenger Terminal (CRIPT), located at Cam Ranh Airport, Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. The International Terminal (T2) was officially put into operation on June 30, 2018, after 19 months of construction. The T2 project was created to inject much-needed capacity into the airport's operating infrastructure. At the same time, facilities and services were upgraded to match international standards.
T2 covers a total area of 544,000 square feet, made up of dedicated levels for departure and arrival zones. The terminal features 80 check-in counters arranged in four rows, each equipped with 20 counters. There are ten aircraft bridges, six baggage carousels, and four air bridges at the terminal. Other facilities include car parking, ramp systems for automobiles, terminal approach roads, passenger pick-up arrangements, and mobile lifts.
The terminal building has a unique architecture inspired by the shape of a swallow's nest, native to the Khanh Hoa province, and the waves of Nha Trang Bay, a symbolic representation of the South-Central Coast. Built using locally sourced materials, the roof of the terminal mimics the swallow’s nest by featuring a repeated sequence of peaks and troughs and is curved in a convex shape.
