A Harmonious Blend

To anchor the campus architecture in its context and connect with Hanoi’s cultural legacy, the school draws inspiration from the traditional architectural vernacular of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Employing strong rational geometries, deep facades, and modern materials, the design reflects a European modernist tradition while adapting to local climate and culture. The new state-of-the-art campus is poised to become one of the premier international school campuses in Asia.

The school’s buildings are arranged linearly along the eastern and southern boundaries of the site, framing the majority of the campus landscape and outdoor activity spaces for visibility to the wider community. The striking folded form creates a grand canopy and terrace that float above the ground plane atop a series of curvilinear pavilions accommodating entry, dining, and administrative functions. Multi-level breezeways punctuate the building mass, allowing for natural ventilation and enhancing visual connections.
