District-Wide Improvements Enhance Learning, Accessibility, and Community Use

District-wide capital improvement project for Whitney Point Central School District. The project delivered transformative upgrades across multiple facilities, enhancing educational environments, accessibility, and community use.

At Tioughnioga Riverside Academy, Turner completed a comprehensive renovation of the third floor, previously inaccessible due to ADA and fire code limitations. The updated space now features a state-of-the-art STEAM classroom, building-wide HVAC upgrades, a new secure entrance vestibule, renovated main office, and improved ADA accessibility throughout.

At Caryl E. Adams Elementary School, improvements included renovations to the main entrance, lobby, and office areas, along with a new two-classroom Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) addition. Additional upgrades encompassed an expanded UPK playground, lighting and ceiling replacements, bathroom renovations, masonry repairs, and comprehensive MEP system enhancements. A major highlight was the full renovation and expansion of the pool facility, now equipped with six competition-ready lanes, a deeper diving well, new bleachers, scoreboard, sound system, locker rooms, and upgraded safety features.

Site improvements at Tymeson Field included the installation of a new artificial turf multi-sport field and site lighting, enabling nighttime athletic events for the first time. The project also delivered a new concession facility, upgraded bleachers, a new press box, sound system, and scoreboard to improve the experience for athletes and spectators.

Additional scope at the District’s Bus Garage included fencing and paving improvements, sidewalk upgrades, exterior repairs, door replacements, and electrical and plumbing system enhancements.
