This 170,000 sq. ft. building on the Boston University campus is home to the Center for Systems Neuroscience, the Biological Design Center, the Center for Sensory Communication and Neuroengineering Technology and the Cognitive Neuroimaging Center. The building houses lab space, collaborative space, seminar and large-scale discussion rooms, as well as support spaces for neuroimaging techniques, testing rooms for behavioral studies and research.
The building also includes a state-of-the-art human Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRI) facility that can be used to study conditions such as Traumatic Brain Injury and Parkinson’s disease. This project received LEED Gold Certification, as well as “2018 Regional Project Achievement Award” by Construction Management; Association of America (CMAA).
