Turner provided design/build construction management services for a new student housing building on Penn State’s Abington campus. The 135,000 sq. ft. five-story student housing building for first- and second-year students is the first dorm attached to the campus and houses 400 students in apartment-style living units with complete kitchens and dining areas. The first floor includes a lounge/reception/mail area near the main entrance, a residence life apartment and office suite, and a large multipurpose room. Other lounges, studies, and laundry rooms are distributed throughout the residential floors. This project is LEED certified.
