Elevating the Traveler’s Experience

The British Airways Lounge at San Francisco International Airport transformed their existing space. Following demolition of the existing BA Lounge, the build out included a combination of carpet, tile and wood flooring; installation of custom and innovative light fixtures; three self-serve bar/buffet counters with customer accessible appliances, plus separate private room for first class traveler dining; new restrooms; millwork and upholstery; new plastering and signage at the entry vestibule; all associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. Turner’s Self Perform Operations (SPO) furnished and installed various work equating to approximately 15% of the total project volume. Their scope included custom millwork throughout (self-serve bars, marble counters and pull out drawers, solid surfacing); custom laminate finished banquettes, with upholstered seating, and marble table insets; custom metal corridor “portals;” custom millwork floor to ceiling demising screen.
