The state-of-the-art, 56,500 sq.ft., three-story medical office building on the campus of the HCA Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri provides the bariatrics program a larger, updated space with more capabilities to treat patients. Bariatric treatment can greatly reduce the risk of developing chronic conditions such as sleep apnea, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke. The project also included a 1,900 sq. ft., grade-level connector between the MOB and the existing MOB adjacent to the site. Work included Earthwork, Utilities, Drilled Piers, Concrete, Asphalt, Masonry, Steel, Gypsum Assemblies, minor interior finishes of the core, MEP, and elevators.
