The Mellon Bank Center, now known as the BNY Mellon Building, is a 55-story, Class A office tower in the heart of Center City. This unique 1,475,420 sq. ft. building also contains two levels of underground parking for 160 cars, and retail space on a concourse level that connects directly with the center city concourse retail space and Suburban Station Regional Transportation System.
The structure is steel frame with concrete encased columns and spandrel beams, slab-on-metal deck with a traditional hand set stone facade to the 10th floor, and an ornate glass and aluminum curtainwall from the 10th through 54th floors.
