Mauricio Romero

Mauricio began his career with Turner in 2003 where he spent several years in the estimating department. He then transitioned to the field, holding roles as Project Engineer and Project Manager, ultimately returning to preconstruction and being named Preconstruction Manager in 2021. He has extensive construction experience in a range of market segments including hospitality, healthcare and commercial. His resume also includes leading several design-build projects including the renovation of Riverside Convention Center and expansion of Anaheim Convention Center, along with an international design-build project in Guadalajara, Mexico. As the department lead, Mauricio keeps a pulse on market conditions and trends to develop accurate and transparent budgets that prioritize the client’s vision and goals.
