Turner’s Columbus office opened in 1965, a time when urban high-rise construction was booming and the experience of a proven commercial builder was in demand. As the builder of choice, Turner's first prominent projects in Columbus included the iconic LeVeque Tower's historic renovation, the Rhodes Office Tower – the city's tallest downtown highrise at 41 stories, and the JP Morgan Chase McCoy Center at Polaris.

Today, the core of our work and what we do in Columbus is represented by the repeat partners on projects ranging from $750,000 to $2 Billion - we serve the unique needs of clients with tenant fit-out and renovation projects as well as new stand-alone structures. We are excited to have the opportunity to help bring many important projects to life in Columbus. We have a depth of expertise in a variety of market segments including hospitality, pharmaceutical, data centers, healthcare, commercial, justice/government, public assembly, K-12, retail, industrial processing, culture and entertainment, and higher education.

In Columbus, we maintain a team of over 275 construction professionals along with a self-perform team of 250 carpenters and laborers, which allows us to regularly self-perform many aspects of the work on our projects. Turner’s Self-Perform offers owners on-site flexibility and works to identify opportunities for more control of safety, cost, schedule, manpower and quality on the job.
